The No. 5 Sailor Bag adds a touch of simplicity to everyday life. Its large woven canvas pocket offers plenty of space to carry your essentials and keep your belongings within reach. Storytelling :

The duffle bag’s shape comes from its origins: storing the
hammock that sailors slept in and, then, when back on
terra firma, rolled along the ground, with their clothes and
a few other things inside. Later, it turned into the bag we
now know.

LA TOILE ROSE 100% COTON

Fabriquée en France à partir de fibres cardées non traitées chimiquement, cette toile 100 % coton est reconnue pour sa robustesse et sa durabilité. Utilisée de longue date par l’armée, l’armure toile dans laquelle elle est tissée est particulièrement dense, ce qui lui confère une excellente résistance aux déformations et aux déchirures.

Cette densité rend la teinture à cœur particulièrement complexe : la couleur ne pénètre pas toujours entièrement la fibre et peut laisser apparaître, à l’usage ou à la fabrication, de petits fils clairs. Ces variations font partie intégrante de la matière et constituent
un gage d’authenticité. 

Cette toile reçoit ensuite un traitement déperlant, suivi d’une
enduction sur l’envers afin de préserver l’éclat de la couleur sur la face visible. Cette enduction facilite l’entretien tout en conservant l’aspect naturel de la matière.
