Two houses, two anniversaries, an exclusive canvas
On the occasion of L/UNIFORM’s 10th anniversary and Hôtel Costes’ 30th anniversary, a new collaboration comes to life, the result of a shared history, craftsmanship, and a common pursuit of excellence.
A creative duo since 2015
Jeanne Signoles met Jean-Louis Costes for the first time in 2015. From this meeting was born their first collaboration.
Jeanne developed an exclusive chocolate-colored canvas, the signature of Hôtel Costes, woven in France and edged in black.
To complement this collection, Jean-Louis Costes also selected several colors from L/UNIFORM’s permanent collection: yellow, red, navy, and khaki.
2025: the refinement of black and white
In April 2025, under the creative impulse of Jean-Louis Costes, a new immaculate white canvas was created.
This canvas, combining the purity of white with the contrast of black, respects the DNA of both houses and L/UNIFORM’s technical fundamentals: woven, coated, waterproof, and stain-resistant canvas.
This exclusive canvas inspired a unique line on a selection of iconic models, available only at L/UNIFORM.
From canvas to object, a handcrafted process
Each piece of L/UNIFORM is handcrafted in its workshop in Portugal. From technical design to assembly, finishing, and packaging, every step of the production process is carried out by highly qualified craftsmen trained within L/UNIFORM.
