On Saturday, October 3, Japanese artist Yosuke Fujii will give a live artistic performance at the L/UNIFORM boutique on Quai Voltaire in Paris.
In front of the audience, he will paint directly onto a L/UNIFORM bag, transforming it into a unique piece, a personal expression of craftsmanship and creativity.
A free, poetic hand, from Japan. It settles onto our lines, our bold colors. A meeting between geometry and poetry.
PERSONALIZATION
The artist has also created a series of drawings : birds, flowers and animals, adding to the Maison’s collection of symbols.
These drawings could then be reproduced by stamping in the boutique, allowing each person to add an icon imagined by Yosuke Fujii to their L/UNIFORM piece.
About Yosuke Fujii
Born in 1987, Yosuke Fujii is a Japanese contemporary artist and designer. His work lies at the intersection of painting, haute couture, and Japanese aesthetics.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, he worked across Europe for several years before returning to Japan, where he joined an art gallery and later founded his own studio.
He primarily uses fabric as a medium, hand-painting unique haute couture pieces. His practice has since expanded to include shitsurai, the painting of everyday objects, and the creation of pieces intended for tea ceremonies.
