L/UNIFORM:

A Story of Transmission

At L/UNIFORM, bringing beauty and utility together is more than a goal: it’s a philosophy.

Our two fundamental pillars: an unwavering pursuit of quality and the desire to create everyday objects designed to accompany daily life, from morning to night. L/UNIFORM bags are never just accessories. They carry a story, transcend eras, and blend into the rhythm of life. They reflect the care given to every detail, a taste for design that is both functional and aesthetic, and the silent connections that link generations.

For the first time, Violette Signoles, 21 years old, the founder’s daughter, lends her voice to the brand. She brings a fresh perspective to L/UNIFORM: personal, free-spirited, sensitive, and deeply rooted in her own time.

Violette grew up inside the world of L/UNIFORM, surrounded by collections, by bags worn in daily life, and by the vibrant colors of the fabrics. To her, the brand has never been about style alone: it is a bond, a language, a shared story.

“My very first memory? My schoolbag. Beige, with my initials in pale pink. Then a khaki backpack. They followed me through my entire childhood.”

Today, she lends her face to this campaign that celebrates both heritage and transformation. A new generation is speaking out, and Violette is its voice: free, sensitive, curious. Between her camera, guitar, synthesizer and musical wanderings, she carries her bags the way one carries an idea, a rhythm, a way of being.

“I’m amazed to be able to represent an image, to give a part of myself. It’s bold, but I’m proud.”

Her favorite model? The small photographer’s bag. Compact, graphic, and practical. In bold red, impossible to ignore. “I love its slightly square shape, its pockets, its simplicity. It holds just what you need. And above all, it catches the eye.”

Violette loves contrasts, bright colors, and geometric shapes. She listens to Oklou, explores, captures everyday sounds, and photographs reality. She enjoys imagining L/UNIFORM ten years from now: more colors, bolder combinations, unexpected collaborations — and always that functional elegance, that taste for lasting utility.

“I had my first bags as a little girl. I still have them. They’re objects you keep for life.”

At L/UNIFORM, there is the beauty of well-crafted things. But above all, there is trust that is built over time, like a bond between generations.

“From my mother, I inherited perseverance, creativity, sincerity. And trust.”

And if Violette had an “uniform” of her own? It would be that of an explorer. Free to forge her own path, to discover, to experiment. To reinvent herself, again and again.
