A COLLABORATION BUILT TO LAST
In 2015, Jeanne Signoles, founder of L/UNIFORM, met Jean-Louis Costes, creator of the Hôtel Costes. They shared a common vision of travel and the Parisian art de vivre: a taste for useful, durable objects defined by clean lines. From this meeting emerged a collaboration combining elegance, functionality and craftsmanship.
Week-end au Costes
In 2018, the Week-end au Costes capsule collection brought together three travel essentials: the 48-hour bag, the sailor bag and the toiletry case. An exclusive woven canvas, dyed in Costes signature brown, was developed for the occasion. Specific finishes, including a black leather hot-stamped label, defined this first collaboration.
To complement this collection, Jean-Louis Costes also selected several colors from L/UNIFORM’s permanent collection: yellow, red, navy, and khaki.

2025 – refined black and white
In 2025, the collaboration is enriched with a new canvas combining white with contrasting black, staying true to the DNA of both houses and to L/UNIFORM’s technical fundamentals: a woven, coated, waterproof canvas with an anti-stain treatment. This canvas is available in two models and features a new hot-stamped black leather label: the foldable bag N°151 and the postman N°139.
