These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern sales of L/UNIFORM articles on the site by the company called: L/UNIFORM, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of 10,000 euros, registered with the Paris Registry of Commerce and Companies under No. 792 172 942, having its registered office at 30 rue de Richelieu, 75001 Paris. Identified by intra-Community VAT number FR 20 792 172 942.

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale constitute the one and only contract between the parties and prevail over any other document. They may be modified at any time. The modified General Terms and Conditions of Sale will apply to any order placed after they are made available on the site.

The products L/UNIFORM offers for sale on the site are intended exclusively for end users called consumers. Consumers do not act in a business capacity or in connection with a company’s business.

Any resale of L/UNIFORM articles is formally prohibited.

L/UNIFORM therefore reserves the right not to process orders placed by persons other than consumers or orders not in compliance with its commercial policy.

— A range of articles from a traditional collection: “The Collection”

— A range of made-to-measure articles, created and manufactured according to your specifications, based exclusively on the choices proposed at the time you place your order; “a Special Order”.


The articles offered for sale on the site are products of the highest quality manufactured in France or in other countries in workshops carefully selected for their stringent quality control.

Each article’s features are described on an individual product description sheet which can be consulted under the heading “The Collection” and “special orders”.

However, the true colours and photographs of articles on the site may not always be accurately reflected simply because of variations in computer screens.

The articles are 100% hand-made and as such may sometimes have slight irregularities due to their hand-crafting and because “natural” raw materials are used.

It is understood that the articles are offered for sale within the limits of available stocks. The availability of an article is indicated on the product description sheet and/or when placing the order.

Should one of the articles or a material not be available in stock, we undertake to contact you by email within a maximum of 15 days from the date of you order to inform you and let you know when your order can be delivered. You will have then the option of maintaining your order or cancelling it. A refund will be made for any cancellation in accordance with the conditions mentioned in Article 7.



Prices of articles are understood to be Including All Taxes (20% on January 1, 2014), excluding transport costs. Prices are indicated in Euros.

Prices may be modified at any time, on the understanding that articles are invoiced on the basis of the price indicated at the time the order is registered. Any change in the legal rate of VAT will be automatically passed on to the prices of the articles as soon as the change is applied.

The total amount of the order is indicated on the “Basket” page, indicating the following information:

— Price including VAT or not (accordgin to country of delivery)

— Transport costs


Selling prices are different according to the geographic areas and you will be able to see them as soon as you select your country (Home page and bottom of the page “delivery country and preferences” :

A: the orders are delivered DDU (delivered duties paid) to the following countries:

B : If your country is not mentioned in the above list, as your are considered the importer, you will have to pay freight costs, import taxes, customs duties, local taxes of the country in which you are receiving your order. The payment of these taxes is necessary to clear your order through customs.  Insofar as we are not able to tell you the amount of these taxes, we will always ask you by email for your authorization to send you the order.



A specific ordering procedure must be followed, the principal stages of which are indicated below:

Access to the Basket

— Choice of transporter (when it is possible to choose the delivery method)

— Mention of the provisional delivery date(s)

Validation of the order

— Input of your particulars (surname, first name, telephone number, email address) and the delivery and invoicing addresses

— Button: Modify the basket, if you wish to make a modification

— Indication of the provisional delivery time

— Check the box: Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

— Button: Validate the basket and visualize the order

— Selection of the payment method

Confirmation of the order

— Receipt of a printable order confirmation email constituting a purchase order, with the particulars of our E-commerce Customer Service and information about the right of withdrawal

— The invoice is sent by email or put in the package when the order is shipped. It can also be downloaded from the customer Account.

— When the order is shipped, receipt of an email confirming shipment and indicating the shipment number noted on the package (this is a no-reply email).

An order placed on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday will be processed and confirmed only from the following business day.



To pay the price of the articles and the transport costs, just follow the explanations given on your order form.

Payment of your purchases is exclusively by bank card when you place your order (Carte bleue, Visa, Eurocard/MasterCard, PayPal).

L/UNIFORM may ask you to send a copy of the identity card to check that the payment card is not stolen.

If payment is made using a credit/debit card, the financial information (for example, credit/debit card number or expiry date) will be transferred by SSL encrypted protocol to our partner OGONE without any third party being able to access it. Such information will never be used by L/UNIFORM, except to complete the procedures relating to your purchase, or to issue refunds if products are returned in accordance with the right of withdrawal, or if it is necessary to warn or report the perpetration of a fraud on the site to the competent authorities.

Payment card numbers are not kept in our computer systems.

If your debit/credit card is not in euros, the final price is calculated in accordance with the exchange rate applicable on the day the issuer of your card processes the transaction.

Ownership of the articles we sell remains with us until full payment of the price, including VAT and the transport costs.



5.1 Destination

The articles proposed for sale by L'UNIFORM are delivered based on a list of countries. Please select the delivery country on the homepage or in the “delivery country and preferences” section at the bottom of the homepage.

Articles will be delivered to the delivery address indicated during the ordering process.

L/UNIFORM may not be held liable if the delivery address indicated is incorrect or does not exist.

L/UNIFORM does not deliver to post office boxes.

Articles which are not collected from the delivery point in the period of time indicated (14 days) will be returned to L/UNIFORM. You will then be debited an amount corresponding to the costs incurred by the return.


5.2 Delivery times

A delivery date is displayed during the “Basket” phase of the ordering process. We do our utmost to ensure that the delivery time will be less than:

— 4 days for articles from the Collection which are available in stock

— 9 days for articles from the Collection which are available, with a personalization

— 8 weeks for Special Order articles

Please note that these delivery times may vary depending on the product, the transporter, etc.

Deliveries are made by LA POSTE or CHRONOPOST for France and the European Union, and by UPS or CHRONOPOST for Japan, United States of America and the rest of the world. Please contact us should we be unable to deliver all articles of the same order to you at the same time.


5.3 Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically as soon as you finalize your basket of purchases and are indicated in the total to be paid during the ordering process.

France intramuros : Free delivery for orders over 90€. Delivery within 48 hours by Colissimo : 8 € - LA POSTE

Express delivery, the next day for any order before 10am : 23 € via Chronopost.

European Union : Delivery by Colisimmo – LA POSTE : Fee based on country : Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, Portugal : 8 euros. Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia : 12 euros. Finland, Romania, Sweden : 17 euros. Bulgaria : 18 euros. Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Malta : 28 euros.

Express delivery, under 3 days for any order before 10am, delivery fees are calculated according to chosen articles, the fee will be displayed in the shopping cart.

Rest of the world : Delivery by UPS SAVER or CHRONOPOST. Shipping costs will be calculated based on the article(s) selected, the amount will be indicated in the shopping basket. Customs and taxes related to shipping will be paid when the order is delivered.


Packages will be handed over in return for the addressee’s signature.

In the event of loss or theft, you as the addressee customer must inform the transporter immediately.


5.4 Delivery problems

Any non-delivery or late delivery exceeding eight (8) business days must be notified to our E-commerce Customer Service as promptly as possible. Any complaint made more than thirty (30) calendar days after the date your order was confirmed will not be accepted.

You must verify the conformity of the goods upon delivery and indicate any anomalies you have observed (open package, damaged product, etc.) on the delivery voucher in the form of handwritten reservations, to which you should add your signature.

— Special Order articles and articles from the Collection, with a monogram


A made-to-measure article is a unique personalized product which cannot therefore be returned or exchanged, in accordance with Article L.121-20-2 of the French Consumer Code (“Unless otherwise agreed between the parties, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of the following: […]3° Supply contracts for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or substantially personalized or which, given their nature, cannot be re-dispatched or are likely to deteriorate or become outdated rapidly”).


As a result you do not have the option of invoking a right of withdrawal. We therefore recommend that you devote whatever time and attention is necessary when creating your article.

— Articles from the collection: The Collection

You have fourteen (14) days from the day you receive the articles purchased on the site to exercise your right of withdrawal, without any penalty and without giving any explanation, in accordance with the conditions of Article L. 121-20 and following of the French Consumer Code.

To do so, just send to the E-commerce Customer Service by email at: your unequivocal decision, before the end of the stated period, by using the below example of letter of withdrawal:

After validation by the E-commerce Customer Service, you will receive a Return Voucher by email which you should print (or download and print) and include in your package; the return authorization number and the return address are indicated on this Return Voucher.

You must then return the article(s) to us at the following address: L/UNIFORM, ZA Lannolier, 9009 boulevard Henri Bouffet, 11000 Carcassonne.

The right of return will be accepted in the event that the article is returned new and in its original packaging with the label still attached. The product will not have been worn, used, modified or damaged and will be in perfect condition so that it can be offered for sale again.

Articles will remain at the delivery point (or centre) for 14 days. Any package which is not claimed in this period will be sent back to L/UNIFORM which will invoice you the costs of the return.

The costs of the return will be borne by you.

In the case of an error attributable to L/UNIFORM (defective article or error in the order preparation), L/UNIFORM will assume the costs of the return of the article. You must request the return in accordance with the process described above, then follow the indications that will be given to you and finally hand over the package to the transporter whose name will be provided to you by L/UNIFORM.



As soon as your return package is received and provided that all the conditions indicated above have been respected, L/UNIFORM will inform you by email that it will refund you as promptly as possible, and at the latest in the 14 days following the date on which you exercised your right (Article L. 121-20-1 of the French Consumer Code), by crediting the bank account used for the payment of the order.

In the case of a delivery outside France, L/UNIFORM will refund the net price of the articles, except for the customs duties and all other taxes you had to pay when you imported the order.



L/UNIFORM’s after-sales service takes care of carrying out repairs to worn articles.

We invite you to contact our after-sales service preferably by email at: giving as many details as possible about the state of the article and information about the purchase (reference, name of the model, order number and date), specifying the area to be repaired and attaching if possible photographs of the entire article and the relevant area.

Your article will be forwarded to our workshops, which will take the appropriate decision:

— In the case of a manufacturing defect observed and confirmed by our workshops, we will repair your article free of charge or replace it with a new article of an equivalent value.

— Repairs to a worn article must be paid for. However, you will be given a quote and the repair will be made only after you have accepted the quote.

— Your article will not be repaired if it is too worn. It will then be returned to you in the same state.



L/UNIFORM articles are covered by the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty of hidden defects, in accordance with the applicable provisions (Articles L. 211-1 to L. 212-1 of the French Consumer Code, Articles 1641 and 1648 of the French Civil Code).

You have two (2) years to request these warranties from our Customer Service. For the legal warranty of conformity (Article L. 211-12 of the French Consumer Code), this period starts from the delivery of the articles, and for the warranty of hidden defects (Article 1648 of the French Civil Code), it starts from the discovery of the defect.



L/UNIFORM shall not be held liable for any colour variation “computer screen/true colour”.

L/UNIFORM shall in addition not be deemed liable or defaulting for any delay or non-performance following the occurrence of a force majeure event.



Your personal data are necessary for the processing of your order and are not at any time intended to be sold, commercialized or rented to third parties.

You have a right of access, modification, rectification and objection to the information concerning you: by accessing the menu My account> connect > tab: my information > modify my information.



L/UNIFORM holds an exclusive right of ownership or use of all the intellectual property rights in the site and in all the elements composing it (trademarks, models, copyrights, domain names, etc.). Any total or partial reproduction of the site is formally prohibited.



These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the ordering process and all acts arising therefrom are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable settlement, the French Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
