L/UNIFORM OPENS IN NEW YORK
L/UNIFORM will open the doors to its first American flagship on September 17, in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

THE SPACE
The Upper East Side boutique was designed by architect Jakob Sprenger. “We wanted to design a space where utility feels graceful,” explains Sprenger. “This boutique is a physical reflection of the care and quiet elegance that L/Uniform weaves into every bag."
Sprenger took his cue from the straightforward ingenuity of a classic travel trunk: authentic materials, a precise visual order, nothing superfluous.
Saturated blocks of color mark the walls and architectural trims, a direct echo of the vibrant canvas hues and leather bindings that define L/UNIFORM's collections.
Furniture and objects were curated by Gladys Chenel of Galerie Chenel L/UNIFORM's neighbor on the Quai Voltaire in Paris whose selections bring a layer of Parisian lived-in elegance to the space.
A dedicated bespoke atelier anchors the boutique. An intimate space where L/UNIFORM's savoir-faire is not merely displayed but practiced. Clients are invited to slow down : to sit with a curated library of canvas hues, leather edgings, hardware, and customization, and configure a piece entirely their own.
The Upper East Side location carries L/UNIFORM's complete range of canvas and leather bags, small accessories, and lightweight travel pieces.
